How to book a room?

To log in for PMS Go to link https://app.bookonelocal.in/#/sessions/signin

Enter -Email Id and Password and then Sign in

 

Dashboard

Once login is done the Dashboard tab we will be getting to book a room we can go to Booking Management /New booking. As marked in Green Color.

 

Booking Management

 

  • Book a room for the same day or a future booking. We can see the Booking status
  • The yellow color marked tab shows the Different types of bookings.
  • Entire Property can be booked from Booking Management.
  • Here, all bookings will be shown in a table with different columns /Tab of information.
  • In the enquiry call and put the tentative bookings from the booking management tab.
  • In the Recent Booking we can see the recent activities.
  • In All Booking we can search the guest details by entering the Name or Reservation id or room number.
  • In Today’s Arrival, we can see the expected guest for the same day who is going to check-in at the hotel.
  • In the Inhouse guest Tab we can see the guests who are staying in the hotel.
  • In Today’s Departure, we can see the guest who is supposed to check out for the day.
  • In Find booking we can search the guest for future booking or backdate booking invoice or guest details if we are searching for we can get the details in find booking.

How To Book A Room


Go to the “Booking Management” page and click on “Book A Room”. Further steps are given below:

  • Select Room Type
  • Select Arrival Date & Departure Date
  • Select Room Plan
  • Input No Of Room
  • Input No Of Person (Adult)
  • Input No Of Child
  • Source Of Booking (Third-Party & source name)
  • External Booking Number (Reference No of those booking which comes from Third Party)
  • Turn On the Toggle if It is Group Booking else it will create as a single booking.
  • Then Click On the “Check Availability” button.

 

When the user clicks the “Check Availability” button in the meantime the system checks if there is any availability of that particular room type for that particular date. If it is not available then it will show a message that the room is not available or else it will take the user to the next steps. The next steps are given below:

 

i. Tax Type:
Tax type selection will depend on the property/business and how they have set up their tax. It can be set up as only GST or it can be set up like segregation of GST as CGST, IGST, SGST. In the segregation of GST set up, businesses charge any two of them depending on the guest’s location of arrival and purpose of visit.

ii. Booking Amount Calculation:
The amount / Payable amount will be calculated depending on the: Room Plan Price, No of Rooms, No of Night, Extra Charge Per Person, Extra Charge Per Child, Discount Percentage Wise or Give Discount directly on Net Amount. Then, Tax Charge will be added to the net amount if it is Inclusive Of GST, or else tax will be under the Room plan price.

iii. Select “Mode Of Payment” by which any “Advance Payment” will be taken. For any advance amount, “Booking Mode Of Payment” will be by default “Partially Paid”.

After Entering the details the Guest will get a message notification on the screen of booking.

If a hotelier has a web camera in his system they can capture customer photographs at the time of checking.]

iv. Customer Information:
The user has to input the customer’s general details like First Name, Last Name, Email, Contact Number. In customer details, name fields are mandatory.

Also, if a user clicks on the First or Last Name field then they will suggest the existing customer list. By selecting any existing customer then it will populate the general details which are available.

v. Booking Notes (Any extra requirement or request)

 

Once Booking is done guest will receive a message on his mobile number and also email confirmation will be sent to the guest.

Single Room Booking


In Booking Management Reservation id will be shown in Action but we can see the Reservation ID.
